Knitting: Throw
Those of you who have known me for a while, know that while I like fitness (and not just fitn’this pizza in my mouth :-P ) I am all for weight training and zero about cardio. Generally the only time I run is away from zombies or after the ice cream truck.
Knitting: Hanging Ornament
made up this little pattern initially in 2020 to accompany our first Stitchcraft & Wizardry Adent Calendar Swap. These cute tops (not sweaters, because we are in Australia and NOONE will wear a sweater in 40 degree heat, not even elves!!) are the perfect yarny decoration for your Christmas tree and are the ideal way to use up those tiny scr...
Knitting: Ankle Sock
I wrote this pattern specifically for our 1st Stitchcraft & Wizardry Secret Second Sock Syndrome Swap ( #1stSSSSS).
Knitting: Cowl
My inspiration for this pattern was our Stitchcraft & Wizardry colourway “Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Beans”. I wanted to knit up a sample of this colourway and turn it into a cowl, and it wouldn’t be me, if I didn’t come up with a special fun design for it. :-)
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
My inspiration for this pattern is our new Pippi Longstocking / Pippi Langstrumpf collection. I have been thoroughly enjoying this trip down memory lane into my childhood and I really wanted a pattern that will show off all the playful colourways, and here we are.
Knitting: Toeless Sock
It has been years since I did my last yoga session, but that doesn’t deter me from wearing and LOVING my yoga socks!! They are just too comfy not to, and on top of that they are a great quick knit and make great presents too!!
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
My inspiration for this pattern as well as the colourway I have dyed up for this, was our crazy little girl Matilda. She is wild, fearless and boisterous, not at all pink and girly like her older sister, but she ALWAYS has her kisses and spreads them around like glitter, brightening up our day.
Crochet: Baby Blanket
Coming up to Christmas, I really needed some snow in the house (which we don’t get to see here in stinking hot Australia) and this is how this blanket was born.
Crochet: Washcloth / Dishcloth, Scrubber
These Face Washers and Make-Up Pads are created using the Jasmin Stitch, which is a series of puff stitches aligned to form a floral pattern. This stitch is very thick, creating a very soft and fluffy texture, which is ideal for items that are used on your skin. Due to the thick nature of the stitch, it does use quite a lot of yarn however, so ...
Crochet: Washcloth / Dishcloth
These dishcloths are created using the waffle stitch, which is one of my favourite stitches to use when I want a rough texture, which is definitely something you want when trying to scrub your lovely munchkin’s 7 day old plate that had been hiding under their bed in their room.
