Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This is a shawl made from a tab start. It has slip stitches to make the little windows. It used 1 ball of Malabrigo arroyo and about 60 yards of 2nd ball. Even though Malabrigo is listed as a sport yarn it knit well with the fingering yarn used as the contrasting color.

This is a top down crescent shawl, starting with a garter stitch tab.

This shawl body is crescent shaped with garter stitch and eyelet worked from the bottom to the top with an I cord bind off. The shawl increases with an edge yarn over that is picked up for the bottom border.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This is an adult size hat to fit approximate head circumference of 21-22” The gauge is for the ribbing since this is the crucial part of the hat as far as fit goes.

I was inspired to design this shawl by the color of the roving that I used to spin this yarn. It reminded me of one of the green fields at Muttontown when I go hiking. The colors remind me or spring.
