Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This pattern is a follow-up to the Knit Lace Sampler Scarf and uses the same set of knitting stitches. It includes instructions for a garter tab start, making a triangular shawl, and adding a perpendicular lace edging to the shawl. The completed shawl is 72” wide and 39” deep at the point when blocked gently.

This scarf was created for a class for my lace guild to illustrate that many lovely lace patterns can be made from just yarnovers and 3 additional stitches (K2tog, SSK, and SK2P). I used DK weight yarn, but any weight yarn can be used with appropriate needles. Blocked, my scarf is 12” wide and 72” long.
