Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Lightweight and somewhere between a shawl and a neckerchief in size, Bosherston features cabled waterlilies and a cabled curlicue border. It’s worked from the bottom tip up.

Linen stitch has a lot going for it: it creates a fabric that doesn’t curl and doesn’t require any edge finishings, it allows for attractive, subtle colour effects reminiscent of weaving, and it produces the neatest intarsia known to knitterkind - no loose stitches where the colours meet!
Knitting: Cowl
This quick, warm, reversible cowl is a nice project for a first go at double-knitting. Not only is it worked in the round (so you won’t ever have to follow the chart “from the wrong end”), but every even-numbered round is the same as the preceding one - which means that on every other round you won’t need to look at the chart at all.

The brocade-like stranded pattern featuring the national flowers of England, Scotland and Ireland didn't spring from any particularly patriotic feeling of mine - anyway, where are the Welsh daffodils? - but was inspired by the pretty 1920s frosted glass in our bathroom door! :-)

Knitting: Pullover
Named after a fun little hornpipe, this hoodie is made to look as if offcuts of a large-flowered fabric had been randomly pieced together. It features a rounded drawstring hood, a knit-in tubular pocket, saddle shoulders and square indented sleeves.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Graceful fish making their way upstream will give you a satisfying knitting experience!
Knitting: Cowl
Easy modular cowl with subtle colour variations, reminiscent of weaving, and the perfect project for anybody new to modular knitting.

We live by a canal, and the ducks are the bane of our life. No amount of shouting, swearing and name-calling will stop them from pulling our trouser legs, pinching our ankles, gatecrashing the kitchen and having quacking contests at five in the morning. Of course, all this ranting here is just for show - I love the little blighters and I though...
Knitting: Pullover
Loose-fitting but gently tailored, top-down, seamless raglan tunic. It features closed-ring cable motifs, side slits and slit sleeves.
