Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
I was tired of trying to make toe up socks with a heel pattern that left holes around the edges of the heel flap. This is my pattern that accomplishes the same thing without the wraps or the holes.

This simple lace pattern has small shells spirling down the leg of the sock. The pattern runs straight for the heel and the foot of the sock. If you wish to make the “fancy” version. With only 4 pattern rows, 3 being just plain knit and the other being the pattern row, its makes a great beginner lace pattern.
