Crochet: Hair accessories
Donut sock buns are an absolute necessity in my household! We couldn’t find donut sock buns in the stores here in Morocco, so I designed two sizes for my daughters and I, small and large. Crochet: Beanie, Toque
I really liked designing this skullcap/kufi, because it combines a traditional North African pattern with a classic Western design. Featuring an eight-point star at the crown, and a houndstooth pattern at the sides. I love how the black and white symmetry in this kufi come together.

Instructions for wristlets and beaded embroidery includ...
Crochet: Beret, Tam
’Fromage’ is the French word for cheese. The triangular shapes in this beret remind one of pieces of French cream cheese, which Moroccans love to eat. North African crafters would recognize this design as ‘the fromage shape.’ I learned this design and turned it into something wearable with a pretty lace edging. This is both stylish and unique- ...
Crochet: Beanie, Toque
I call this the Detour Kufi because I like how the lines swirl off to the left or the right. This is one of my easier designs, and my husband’s favorite.
Crochet: Beanie, Toque

It is made with cotton crochet thread, featuring a 6 point star at it’s crown and a Greek key pattern. It is easy to make and perfect as a gift- it will fit a child, and stretches to fit an adult’s head ...
