Carlyn is an overlay mosaic crochet pattern that was can be adjusted to any size and can be made with any yarn and corresponding hook size. Pattern does include repeats for a blanket, throw and shawl/wrap.

This time an overlay mosaic pattern with a little bit of a difference. This pattern will work with multiple colours for the pattern, but if worked in just one colour it gives a beautiful texture. If you choose to work with low contrasting yarn it will show either pattern or texture depending on the light.

I’ve drawn up a simple pattern to show the difference in working with high contrast and hardly any contrast. The picture shows the same pattern being worked and with one you see the design whereas in the part worked with hardly any contract you see the pattern created by the double and single crochets.
