Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This pattern is knit from the top center out to the bottom edge. The lace pattern is reminiscent of a spider web and is inspired by the lies that villains in fairy tales tell their captives to keep them.
Knitting: Kerchief
This is knit from the lower edge up. The band is picked up from the top edge. This is knit flat.
Knitting: Hats - Other
This hat is knit from the brim up in the round, starting with a provisional cast on that is folded under to make a substantial brim. Due to this you will need 2 ways to hold the full number of stitches. Use the small circumference knitting method of your choice.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
This pattern started as part of a booklet. The cuff of the wrist warmers has a cable pattern that looks like the cancer awareness ribbon.
Knitting: Wristlet
This is a small bag, perfect for a project bag, or to hold small items. It is based on a bag that I made for my child for her first Halloween to collect candy.
Knitting: Pixie Hat
This is a pattern to make your own Santa or Elf hat. The brim is knit first and connected in a circle by grafting. Then the main body of the hat is picked up from one side of the brim.
Knitting: Headband
This is one of the products currently being sold on TheatricalCrafts. It is an elegant cable twist to a classic piece. The pattern started as a stash buster and works with almost any yarn.
Knitting: Earflap Hat
This is a close-fitting hat intended for little ones. It was first designed with Jayne from Firefly in mind. I have provided average sizes, but please keep in mind every baby is different. The cast on is a combination of cable and provisional cast on, this is so the ear flaps are easy to pick up for later.
