This is a GREAT stash busting sweater and a chance to play around with colors and scraps of yarn for each stripe! You can get creative with your yarn substitutes here! Just make sure you check your gauge! Happy knitting!

This top down yoke sweater can be knit in one (think hand spun yarn, Spincycle Dream State or another multi-colored or color changing yarn) or two contrasting colors. A great pattern for beginners featuring simple original color work motifs and texture on the body with an oversize fit and functional (also customizable) bracelet length sleeves).

Notes

This asymmetrical shawl has two options, a Kerchief version or a Shawl version. This pattern contains both versions, for the Kerchief, you simply bind off after completing Section Three. Each time there is a color change, the yarn is meant to be cut with a tail left for weaving in later.

This fabric is a modified rib stitch so the material is quite squishy and stretchy, providing for a minimum of 2” positive ease. This is the slouchier and worsted weight version of the pattern Hazel by thisbirdknits.

This is a fun, quick knit with a unique yet simple ribbing pattern that makes the finished fabric soft, stretchy and very warm. Because of the ribbing and stretchiness of the fabric this is a great hat for all head sizes.

This is a simple raglan sweater with no body shaping, providing a relaxed, casual fit for either Him (or Her). There is approximately 1.5” + ease, to be added to the bust size for proper sizing.

Materials

Kazumi is a Japanese name that translates as “harmoniuous beauty” or “beautiful harmony”. This cardigan is knit with Quince & Co. Owl, which is a lovely worsted weight yarn made up of 50% American Wool and 50% alpaca. This blend creates a lovely harmony for the perfect amount of warmth and drape.

This lightweight shawl is perfect for the summer and can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. With eyelets and a simple lace pattern that is great for both beginning and experienced lace knitters alike, this pattern is a fun knit!

Yarn

This is a uniquely textured cowl pattern that is great for Winter, Spring and Fall. Pattern has options for knitting flat and seaming or for knitting in the round. Two sizes available, the medium fits over the head and neck as it is knit, the large may be worn longer, or doubled once around the neck for extra snuggly warmth.

A simple slip stitch textured pattern that is fun and addictive to knit. After blocking this fabric has a lovely drape, and the illusion of eyelets. A great pattern for beginners and pros alike, this shawl is sure to become a new favorite piece in your hand made wardrobe.

This pattern is worked in the round, carrying the contrast color in back of the work. This creates a warmer, thicker fabric to keep your hands nice and toasty.

There is something so magical about the knit and purl stitch in knitting. So simple, the building blocks for so many stitch patterns, I just love to play around with them in different combos and textures. I love this tank because both sides of the stitch pattern look great, so it can be worn with either the “RS” or the “WS” facing out.

This pattern is another in my Love My Stash collection (See also Forest Glass, Love my Stash Sweater and Love my Deco Wrap) This pattern was designed with stash busting in mind, and is a great sweater to play around with color work, stripes and color blocking while using up some treasured stash yarn.
