I used DK yarn and a 3 and a 4 mm hooks, but this pattern works with bigger yarn weights as well. You will need to size up your hooks to match it though. Using DK yarn, the dragon is roughly 26 cm long and 14 cm tall, and has a wingspan of about 24 cm.
