This is a simple, airy capelet using Shawl in a Ball/Cake yarn from Lion Brand and an I hook. It uses single crochet, double crochet and chains. There is an optional picot for the border as well as beads.

This simple moss stitch scarf works up fast with an interesting lacy border! It uses just 2 balls of yarn so it’s easy to use up those extra balls of yarn in your stash!

Yarn: I used 100 grams of Stylecraft special DK and an H (5mm) hook, but any weight of yarn with an appropriate size hook will do. I think this pattern does lend itself well to lighter weight yarns.
