Take Flight Buttoned Scarf is a cute accessory that can be worn buttoned up into a loop our flat as a scarf. In fact, you could find lots of ways of using the buttons to secure it in different ways.
Knitting: Shrug / Bolero
The Dayzee Chain Shrug was one of the first shrug patterns I designed several years ago. My personal ones, that I have worn frequently, still look great. They have become a staple in my wardrobe for over a pretty dress or jeans and a t-shirt or with a nice top and dressy trousers. I always get compliments and nice comments when I wear one. This...
Knitting: Shrug / Bolero
My Vaulted Lace Shrug is made in worsted weight cotton. Just right for a cooler Spring or Summer day. This is an updated and rewritten pattern from a similar shrug from several years ago.
Knitting: Cardigan
The Triple Diamond short sleeved cardigan is the perfect cotton cardigan for spring and summer. It can be knitted in the cropped 3 diamond version or add another diamond pattern to give you extra length. Just allow extra yarn.

Knitting: Beanie, Toque, Scarf
The cable pattern in this scarf and hat reminds me of Sandpiper tracks.
Knitting: Scarf
I have had requests for this pattern since showing it on Knitting Paradise Forum. So here it is.
Crochet: Poncho
I’ve been making these Spider Chrysanthemum Ponchos for a couple of years now and they are always very popular. They look great using worsted weight yarn with long color changes. I’ve also made them using single color cotton yarn for Summer. That looks great too.
Crochet: Scarf
The Spider Chrysanthemum Scarf is so quick and easy to make. I thought that the spidery design lent itself well to these purples and oranges that are so popular in October/November time.
Knitting: Poncho
With it’s different angles and directions, this pattern is specifically designed to show off self striping or gradient yarns.
Knitting: Cowl
I hand dyed this 100% wool and I thought long and hard about what I wanted to make with it to show it off.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
I have 2 favorite things lately: Knitting linen stitch (I find it very soothing and calming) and velvet yarn (I love the luxurious feel of it). So I have combined the two in this wrap that is so soft and comfortable. Both play well together.
Knitting: Poncho
The Half Collar Poncho is so quick and easy to knit in one piece. Just fold and add buttons and it’s done. It is so soft and comfortable.
Knitting: Scarf
The Linen Stitch Stripes Scarf, with it’s woven texture, looks good on anyone. Use high contrast or complimentary colors for the desired effect. I suggest making a swatch with your chosen colors to see if you like the result.
Knitting: Scarf
This is the ideal scarf for your day off or a relaxing weekend…very squishy, soft and warm. The unisex pattern makes it ideal for using sports team or school colors. It also looks great in sophisticated colors for going to work.

My Edge Eyelets Scarf takes full advantage of self striping yarn with long color changes. This scarf grows quickly, so it’s a satisfying project to work on. The quirky angles make it artsy and fun.
Knitting: Poncho
My Molly Malone Poncho got it’s name because I displayed the first example I made on the famous Molly Malone statue in Dublin, Ireland (just long enough to take a quick photograph). It proved very popular with lots of nice comments when I showed it. Every time I wear mine someone stops me and asks about it or wants to buy it.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
I made my first Sidewalk Cafe Wrap as my in-flight project on a trip across the Atlantic last year. It was such a quick and relaxing knit that it soon became my “go to” project for watching tv and taking along when I have to wait for an appointment and I need something to keep me occupied.
Knitting: Cowl
The Five of Diamonds Cowl is ideal for showing off that single skein of bulky weight yarn that you have been wondering how to use up. The multi colored examples shown here use Loops and Threads Facets bulky weight yarn for the size stated above.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
I call this The Grater Wrap because it has the look of a cheese grater with the pattern of the eyelets. That is where the similarity ends as it is soft, squishy and warm. The use of larger needles gives a nice drape. It is made up of 5 triangles, with the central triangle having a more open eyelet pattern.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
The Hole Punch Wrap is a rectangle shape made up of 5 triangles. The triangles incorporate 3 different “hole punch” eyelet patterns.
Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
The Whirlwind Shawl was my project to keep me busy during Hurricane Irma’s visit to Florida in September 2017. It is a quick and enjoyable shawl/scarf to crochet.

My Whirlwind Lace Beaded Shawl is a cross between a glam shawl and a piece of jewelry. It is the dressy cousin of my Whirlwind Shawl.

Knitting: Poncho
For my Poncho of Frost Lace I used Aunt Lydia’s Fashion Crochet thread number THREE (heavier than the number 10 crochet thread for doilies, etc.) It is classed on the ball band as weight #1 Super Fine. I would say that it is like knitting with light string. I use bamboo or wooden needles as they have more grip for this thread. This thread tends...

The Florist Scarf is made of 2 different types of ribbon yarn. - The main yarn, Alana, is 1/8th inch wide ribbon and I chose the Keiki color which is shades of orange, lime green, turquoise and deep pink. I added the Joy yarn at intervals - the color is an orange thread with rainbow color ribbon pieces. (I used about 40 yards of the Joy yarn.)
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
The Ten Out of Ten Wrap got it’s name because it uses the same ten-stitch lace pattern in a variety of ways to create a different effect in each of the sections that make up this wrap. The sections are divided by eyelets and ridges. I would say it is an easy lace knit; not a lot to remember.
Knitting: Cowl
The Sapphire River Cowl combines a lace pattern and a k2, p2 rib neck that can be worn as a turtle neck or folded back. It is knit in the round on circular needles and uses only about 190 yards of yarn. If you wish to make a longer cowl, you will need approx. 47 additional yards of yarn for each lace repeat.

I call this my Any Day Lace Wrap because since I made mine, I have worn it so much - any day, for any occasion - and it is always elegant and warm. Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
The Fiesta Scallop Shawl makes full use of the long color runs in Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable yarn to show off the sunrise colors in the individually knit scallops along the bottom edge and in the short rows. I used less than 3 skeins in this shawl. Although this yarn is worsted weight, it is a roving type yarn and more like a light worste...
