These quick, cheerful gift card holders are an easy project that are a great stashbuster. Worked in the round using stranded knitting, they can be completed within a few hours and give a special touch when presenting gift cards. The holder is closed with a small button, sewn to the inside and held in place by the I-cord edging along the top edge.

The crisp, clean “kirei” cables of this double-sided little pouch knit quickly …. without a cable needle! After working the provided cable chart upward from a Judy’s Magic Cast On, a bound off I-cord completes the top edge of this seamless piece.

This necklace or bracelet is reversible and knits up flat, rather than in a tube shape. The metallic thread and beads give it a hint of “shimmer” that I think makes it suitable for wearing with slightly more formal blouses etc.

A quick pattern for making that last minute gift! The same pattern can be used to make Men’s fingerless gloves (use a Super Bulky yarn) or Women’s fingerless gloves (use Bulky yarn). Although I’ve not tried it, a lighter weight yarn (Worsted) and smaller needles (8-9?) would probably produce youth gloves, too.
