This is an easy and quick remedy for ugly tissue boxes that you’d rather hide.

I recently finished Hiroko Fukatsu’s “Hitofude Cardigan” and had about half a skein leftover (>200 yds).

This cap features a left cross stitch in 2x2 ribbing, and the body of the cap has a 5 stitch cable that gently moves one stitch over every 4 rows.

This cable band pattern has instructions for both a headband (requiring less than 100 yds) and a beanie.

I created this pattern (while on vacation at the ocean), for my sister-in-law who sits beneath an air conditioning vent at work.

This beanie features the “textured acorn” pattern, in the body of the work. I found this stitch in a very old knitting book and it was called the Acorn stitch. But after a bit of searching, I discovered that it is now called the Textured Acorn Stitch.
