Heather and Woad was named for the woad-blue of the band and the heather-y type color of both of these alpaca-based yarns.

Light and lacy infinity scarf. I use a provisional cast on and the kitchner stitch to create a seamless scarf. Uluru provides a wonderful set of multi-color yarns for every mood. This busy but not-too-difficult lace pattern will add dimensions to a multicolor yarn, or showcase your lace work on a solid coloured yarn.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
A pattern designed for a friend. Worked flat, then sewn together, thumb is worked in the round on DPNS. Malabrigo is butter-soft and works up with ease. The sample shown is a hand-dyed colorway.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
This pattern was designed during dysautonomia awareness month, and textured with turquoise, the awareness color of dysautonomia. It features a delicate aran pattern that mimics ribbing, for an elegant yet simple fit.

Some bold and zaney hand warmers in soft wool blends. Size is best adjusted using thinker or thinner yarns and needles, because the 8 stitch repeat on the spiral.

If it’s in high demand I may write out instructions for various sizes, but for now enjoy this pattern fr...

Knitting: Beanie, Toque
The dance hat is part of a series of designs I’m writing while I de-stash and make Christmas gifts. It starts with an Icord edge instead of the more typical ribbing and is followed by bold fun colors in alternating lines. The two yarns are different weights making the grey stripes seem smaller and ensuring the number of icord rows matches the n...

These hand warmers are the first in a series of small items I made using left over aran sweater yarn and accented with scraps of hand-spun yarn. I’m offering this pattern for free at the moment. Following midsummer 2018 I will start charging for it, grab it up while its FREE! Happy knitting!
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
Though I’ve been knitting for a while this is my first published pattern. I wanted to go wild with cables on the top, and use the honeycomb pattern to gently pull the sock into elegant lines. I used a thinner sock yarn called totally tweedy sock yarn from Dharma Trading Co. hand dyed by using acid dyes. Despite the heavy patterning these socks ...
