Knitting: Cowl
A simple but effective cowl design with a corrugated OR plain ribbed edge and an art nouveau inspired fair isle bat and moon design. The cowl is worked in the round using the stranded colourwork technique. My preference is for the two handed method.
Knitting: Cardigan
Just because I really love ravens and crows. :)

Knitting: Coat / Jacket
This lightweight coat pattern is based on a vintage design I fell in love with, and has turned out to be one of my favourite creations. :) It’s worked on a standard gauge machine (without ribber) and is a flattering flared a-line shape, with decreases worked throughout the panels - instead of just at the sides - to give it its ‘swing’ and movem...
Knitting: Pullover
A unique, boxy, oversized sweater with little sleeves and an illusion panel on the front, giving a hologram effect of a scattering of stars when viewed from the side, and stripes from the front. I think this would also be great for the 4th of July in the right colours! :)
Knitting: Cardigan
A seamed long cardigan with set-in slim fitting sleeves and a flattering lace shawl collar, designed to be worn open. Knit on a standard gauge knitting machine with punchcard facility and lace carriage. No ribber is required; a small hung hem completes the cuffs and lower edges of the cardigan.
Knitting: Coat / Jacket, Cardigan
I made this coat for my mum last Mother’s Day when she asked for something ‘a bit different’, and it was a big hit. :) Mum’s is pale blue, and she gets complements on it every time she wears it. The coat has a lovely cosy collar, and the hem falls in drapey folds. It looks great with a belt too!
Knitting: Cardigan
A simple but flattering shawl collar cardigan worked in DK yarn on an LK150 mid gauge (6.5mm) machine. Options for long or three quarter drop shoulder sleeves, and contrast inset pockets. Sloping shoulders. Minimal finishing, with rolled edges and only two seams to handsew, making this achievable in a day! Sleeves are picked up and worked downw...
Knitting: Tee
A top down, seamless raglan tee shirt with a scoop neck, flattering front gathers and a gentle A-line shape.
Knitting: Accessories - Other
I have a thing about linen, especially aprons, and when I found this beautiful fine 3ply Lithuanian linen, I couldn’t resist knitting a little one to add to my collection. :)

Amadeus
Knitting: Cowl
My partner asked me to knit him something to stop the cold breeze freezing his neck when motorcycling in winter and this is what I made. It is a thick ribbed neckwarmer/dickey that can be tucked down under the neck of a motorbike jacket. It uses about 200m of scrap worsted weight or bulky wool, on 4.5mm/US 7 needles. The neckwarmer is worked in...

Little Military Waistcoat
Knitting: Vest
This is a very warm, sleeveless pullover with similar lines to The Winter Tree Vest, but worked in a chunkier 12 ply wool. It features wide shoulders, slightly cropped length (which can be lengthened) and a little waist shaping. It is designed to be a classic fit. The vest is a quick, easy knit. It is knit flat in two pieces and seamed, with ne...
Knitting: Vest
The Winter Tree Vest was inspired by a beautiful tree I saw silhouetted against the sky in a paddock recently. As a deep dark forest dweller, I really do love trees. :)
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Yes, I did time it! :) For a reasonably quick knitter, this is an easy 1½ hour garter st knit, the other ½ an hour is for blocking and attaching the fringe. It is a triangular shawl that is soft, light and completely reversible. It makes a great last minute gift, and uses only 200m of yarn.
Knitting: Coat / Jacket, Cardigan
This versatile shawl collar lace jacket is knit on larger needles so the lace is open and light, and it works up quickly. It is a great transeasonal cover-up, wrap, yoga cardy or vest.
Knitting: Cuffs, Fingerless Gloves
Very simple cuffs/mitts that are a little bit 19th century military, a little bit Michael Jackson. :)
Crochet: Neck / Torso - Other
A simple pattern for a woolly, three-dimensional chain, including felting instructions. You only need to know very basic crochet.
