I originally designed this hat pattern for my own use and to coordinate with the “Beribboned Eyelets” sweater by Rowena Hill. Other knitters have requested the directions for the hat so I’ve decided to add the PDF to my pattern page to make sharing easier.

Before attempting this pattern knitters should be comfortable knitting extensive ribbing at a fine gauge. This design uses some intermediate skills, but should be achievable by those who can carefully follow a pattern and are comfortable recognizing knit and purl stitches by sight.
