Knitting: Earflap Hat
A quick and easy earflap hat pattern for babies and toddlers that can be easily changed to suite your own taste. Knit with edge and earflaps in garter stitch or seed stitch, change the i-cord ties to braided ties, omit the pom-pom, or add a crochet edge.
Knitting: Mittens
These mittens were designed to go with my earflap hat pattern. They are knit with extra-long cuffs that can be stuffed into jacket sleeves to better keep them on busy little toddler hands.
Knitting: Mittens
These mittens are knit from the fingertips to the cuffs, using short-rows. I had recently finished my first pair of socks and I thought that the short-row technique I used would be a neat way to make mittens. I played around a bit, and these little mittens are what came out of it.
