Really flattering skirt with boots and leggings. Furry flounce and flashes of Be Sweet color splashed in here and there.
Knitting: Skirt
Easily adapted for babies through adults, knit in the round with self striping cotton/silk/wool/nylon, and/or any yarns that suit your fancy. Gauge doesn’t seem to be an issue, you can use any kind of yarn. Set your gauge by your “base” yarn, and play from there. We have kits available, too!
Knitting: Dress
Inspired by the embroidered yoke huipil blouses of the Mayan women in Guatemala. The dress is easy to make and fun to wear. The floofy bit around the yoke is soft and flattering, and I can’t ever get tired of the Louet Euroflax Linen… it wears like iron! and softens so beautifully on the wash! I used 4 skeins of Louet Euroflax in the new hand-p...

Fun and funky skirt with hand-spun flounce… the flowers and sparkles are spun right into the yarn. Easy peasy! Knits up super fast.
Knitting: Skirt
I love paint chips. This skirt is inspired by the subtle shifts of hues on the humble paint chip. Each tier has generous increasing and shifts in color, texture, and pattern. I have added a little flash of sparkly bling at the cast on edge, in the purl row between each tier, and at the bind off edge. You can make your skirt as long or short as ...
Knitting: Pullover
Downton Abbey femininity with jeans and boots, or summer skirt. Top down, lightweight, drawstring neckline blouse. Increases are hidden in the lace-work of the yoke. The fit is loose, with about 4 inches positive ease. The gauge is not critical, as the fit can be adjusted with the drawstring.
Knitting: Skirt
The colors of the sea are captured in sea glass, and the colors of summer are knit into this skirt. Each tier is worked in deeper hues, in different stitch patterns.
Knitting: Sleeveless Top
Stargazer yarn is like bathing in stars. The super soft silk caresses, and the real brass sequins are cool bubbles against the skin.
Knitting: Coat / Jacket
Perfect swingy, over anything, cardigan-jacket-wrap… perfect for world travelers, fits into any suitcase!
Knitting: Pullover
After making the fab striped Noro scarf in Last Minute Knitted Gifts, I wanted more Noro fun. I designed this sweater to be slimming, with the stripes along the sides, and unexpected, with the front and back knit in different colors.
Knitting: Skirt
Most knitted skirts I have encountered make me look like a stuffed sausage. So I set out to design a skirt that accentuates my curves, but hides the lumpy bumpy bits in between. This one is short and sassy, great with bare feet on the beach, or with wooly leggings and chunky boots. Plus, it twirls and sways when you move, in a way shorts just d...
Knitting: Pullover
A light and airy tunic with peasant blouse gathers at the neckline and under the empire-waist lace band. The garment starts with a provisionally cast on under-bosom band, and grows up and down from there. Wear it with jeans, leggings, or skirts.
Knitting: Dress
Anna (my adorable daughter) and I made this dress as a knit-along, inspired by Julie Crawford’s Make up your Mind and Tink’s Twirly Skirt. Starting with a provisional cast-on, this dress is worked up and down, at your whim and your desire. Each tier is worked in a different stitch pattern, which you choose as you go along. Increases are ingenio...
