Whenever I go to the beach, I love looking for pretty shells. I love scallops pattern and I love self striping yarn.

I called this pattern Triads because of the three triangles who in turn each contain 4 triangles. When I asked my sister in law what she saw, she saw wine glasses. Oh well I’m the geek and she the social one.

Sparkling yarn for sparkling snowflakes what a perfect match!

This squishy warm cowl is perfect for those cold below zero temperatures. It is very easy to make. A combination of knits, purls and knit one below, give the cowl its texture and warmth.

These mittens are very easy to do; only one color per row. Slipped stitches make the pattern and with DK yarn they are quickly done.

I designed this pattern for self-striping yarn challenge here on Ravelry SKA.The waves made by the pattern reminded me of dunes in the desert.

Mystery sock for the Sock Knitters Anonymous, May 2012

Inspired by Suzanne Collins’s fire girl heroine in Book 1 The Hunger Games these socks have a single braid.

On Mother’s Day, my boys would give me some Liseron that they would find growing wild near the riverbank and in our cedar hedge. The pattern reminded me of those Liserons.

This is my adaptation of Torirot’s mittens which can be found here. I loved her mittens and asked her if I could use here charts to make socks. She graciously agreed.

Hello I designed this sock for the June SKA challenge based on a stitch I found in my old Reader’s Digest Guide to Needlework. It’s perfect for a first time colorwork because there are no long floats.
