This pattern is written for a large basket made with super bulky yarn. Any size basket can be made and any size yarn can be used. It’s a very flexible pattern. There are two different handle options, or you can make one without handles. Color change with this basket also looks nice.

In addition to size 10 crochet thread (any brand size 10 will do) you will need a 9 inch folding hand fan with 14 stems total and instant bond super glue.

I used Caron Simply Soft Solids for the pattern but any brand worsted weight yarn will do. Variegates work well for the skulls as another option. You just need one color for the skulls and one color for the border/2 skeins total.
