Welcome to our newest yarn, Soft Current! This is a surprise we’ve been holding onto for a while and we are feeling pretty happy about releasing it into the world.

We think of Soft Current as a sister yarn to Frond. It has a slightly thicker core and a more substantial halo, and can be knit at a larger gauge. In the skein, it falls in gentle curves, soft and fine and full of drape. Its fluffiness is intriguing, and it could be held double for an even fluffier fabric! One skein has ample length for a cozy cowl, or use Soft Current in a pattern with colorwork using two differently textured yarns.

We created this color palette especially for the release of Soft Current. It features  several of our most popular colors over the years, as well as a few favorites of the dye studio, and a brand new color inspired by trips to the sea.
