Snöhimmel
Snöhimmel is spun angora wool from my own bunnies - at least a year’s worth of angora cuttings - and selected fleeces from Swedish lambs and ewes.
It is suitable for hats, cowls, mittens, half-mittens or wristwarmers.
Material:
16% angora wool from at least one year’s clippings at my place!
15% Swedish Finewool lambswool
26% Gestrike lambswool
24% Brännö lambswool
19% unusually soft Helsinge wool
Sport weight, 2-ply; 320 m / 100 g
Gauge, needles 2.5 mm or US 1½: 24 stitches x 48 rows = 10 cm or 4 inches
Snöhimmel means Snowy Skies, which suggests soft fluffiness in different grey shades - which describes the yarn so well!
The angora wool is from my own bunnies.
The wool is from the fall shearings of sheep kept in small Swedish farms.
The yarn has been commissioned and spun for me at Brink Hantverk, Vreta Kloster, Sweden
