This is a dazzling kinetic yarn. It just erupts with vitality! In a fabric it reminds us of vintage sequined clothes from the Flapper Era. This is inherently a theatrical material so it is impossible to overdo or go over the top with it. For once in life, no restraint is necessary.

Man Ray was an American in Paris during the 20’s and 30’s, working in photography and film alongside the great painters and writers of the era. He did an amazing movie of Picasso painting, perhaps you can find it online. His work seemed filled with both perception and humor, which often was an inspiration to his community. Something we can all carry forward in our own lives. Enjoy!

Rox says: Man Ray is supercharged with light and energy. Try some slip stitch patterns with the gorgeous colors for bags and fiber jewelry, zap a shawl with a ray of it, or use it for a fabulous edging on sweaters and decor.
