Tsuki
We knit Tsuki as an open sheer fabric, letting the mohair halo fill the gaps in the stitches. People often knit mohair too tightly and loose the wonderful lightness that it makes possible. If you want to go tighter you can.
Tsuki is available in 21 colors, some solid and some painted, all proudly produced by American artists.
silk 40% superkid mohair 60%
22 stitches X 29 rows = 4”/10cm on US #6 needles
Lace, 2 ply
12.88 yards per gram
105.00 yards required for one square foot (knit to gauge in stockinette)
From our website: Although visually delicate, Tsuki is an expertly crafted yarn with great strength and durability. We’ve found that the silk and mohair take dye at different rates, so there is a fascinating tone-on-tone interplay of light and dark between the two.
