Once upon a time we carried a yarn we called Woobu, with which we knit many wonderful things, including one of our most popular sweaters: The Traveling Sweater. Ever since our mill chose to stop making that yarn we’ve been on the lookout for the perfect yarn to take its place.

We are very excited to announce that we have finally found that yarn! Please welcome to our carefully curated line-up of yarns and fiber, the seriously silky Aria!!!

Aria is spun with 40% cultivated silk which mimics what the bamboo did in our Woobu yarn perfectly. The silk is what gives Aria that lovely silvery sheen, while adding some durability, a little bit of drape and the lovely feel that only silk can give us. 60% Merino is just enough wool to keeps things lofty and light and cozy. Aria is a 4 ply which makes for some pretty great stitch definition. We are beyond thrilled with Aria!
