East meets West in this lovely yarn. Bambu enhances the lofty quality of the merino while adding a bit of a sheen. This yarn has a wonderful hand and is quite a joy to knit with. Bambu does not take in the acid dyes we use since it is a plant based fiber which we love because it lends a silvery air to the color. Our regular Woobu is such a popular sweater yarn, we thought adding a fingering weight that was also superwash would give us a base we love for lighter projects like shawls and sock even!

Note: Because Super Woobu-LITE is 30% bambu, it does not take the dye as deeply the other yarns. This is especially true in the darker colorways specifically the raven ones. The under colors are just not as visible. It is very subtle shading, seen more when knit but certainly not so much in the skein.
