Sustainably-raised 100% Border Leicester yarn from our Animal Welfare Approved farm. Our sheep are humanely raised and rotationally-grazed in Vermont’s scenic Northeast Kingdom. Border Leicester sheep are known for their long, lustrous fleece that produces beautiful, long-wearing yarn.

Hand wash, lay flat to dry.

Natural and hand-dyed colors available.

This yarn was produced at a different mill than Northern Border and isn’t really similar in person. The loft of the yarn gives a gauge more like DK or Worsted, even though the weight and yardage indicates Sport. This yarn is soft and suitable for next-to-skin uses for all but the most wool-sensitive people.

Each skein weighs 2 oz and contains 150 yards of sport-weight yarn.
