This 3-ply wool yarn comes from our small flock of sheep happily pastured and raised in Brookfield, VT, USA. Corriedale x Montadale sheep produce fine wool with a medium crimp, which makes yarn with beautiful loft and a soft feel. It is the perfect choice for any pattern calling for worsted weight yarn when a warm, sturdy garment that is soft to the touch is desired. This yarn is also well-suited for Aran-style sweaters, and will substitute well in any Aran design calling for 5 stitches per inch in stockinette stitch, or approximately 5 ½-6 stitches per inch in the overall Aran pattern. Choose from Natural White or Natural Light Gray. Each skein is 150 yards, and approximately 2.25-2.3 oz, depending on the color.
