Eleven gradations and five color bridges give you a total of 104 colors of the sky in all its moods and latitudes. The two-ply jumper weight (fingering) yarn, which knits up at about 8 st/in on US 1-2 needles, is milled exclusively for ColorShift from 23.5 micron superwash Merino wool. (Don’t be confused by the Ravelry designation above of “4-ply” which simply refers to the way fingering weight is termed in some countries, regardless of the number of plies. This yarn has two plies, and I have no control over the Ravelry choices of terms.) Each ball of color is approximately 40 yards/36.5 meters. The total amount of yarn is 4160 yards/3804 meters.

The set comes in two single-layered boxes of center pull balls. If you want to look at any of the colors in greater detail, the names of the colors are given below and refer to individual color sets offered in the ColorShift Etsy shop.

The cool colors, as shown in the second photograph, from right to left are: blue to midnight, mauve tone grayscale, cobalt, chicory, faded jeans, pale lavender, tea rose to faded jeans, and (on the bottom) maroon to endless blue.
The warm colors, as shown in the third photograph, from right to left are: bright yellow orange, koi, copper, soft blush, tea rose, maroon, zinnia, and (on the bottom) violet to shell.
