Hermitage

Elegant, refined and truly unique, the Hermitage shines on its own (literally). I have been fascinated with the Russian architectural masterpiece for years.
This yarn contains no wool or other animal fibers and is perfect for those with allergies. Instead, the fibers include bamboo, soysilk, tencel and ramie. I dyed the fibers in the lightest mints, lemons, celerys, aquas and bluebells and left some undyed (white and light caramel). Additionally, I spun hundreds of glass seed beads of mint and celadon along with square kiwi mother-of-pearl shells into the yarn. This yarn has the most amazing texture, light but weighty (with the beads) but also extremely smooth and slippery. The skein is approximately 138 yards and weighs 4.6 ounces/ 129 grams. Available for purchase here.
