Super-fine Merino in a 2-ply yarn. Rich colors. The fun texture really shows off speckles! This base is extra durable, which makes it an excellent choice for socks!

Wash recommendations: For best results, hand wash with a splash of vinegar and lay flat to dry.

This is superwash, so you can wash and dry it without much heat.

I always make sure the skeins rinse 100% clear before I let them dry. However, acid dyes use a weak acid to bind the color to the yarn. If you have water that is toward the base side of the ph scale, that can unbind the color and cause the soak water to be slightly colored. If you add vinegar, which is a weak acid, it will help keep the acid bond and keep your soak water clear.
