Alpakka Forte is a reinforced alpaca yarn in 80% alpaca and 20% nylon that comes in beautiful heathered tones. The yarn is as soft and comfortable as pure alpaca, and the colors are especially beautiful in alpaca fish.

We recommend Alpakka Forte for sweaters, jackets, and skirts, and it’s wonderful for accessories including socks.

Alpakka Forte has the same running length and knitting strength as Dale Alpakka and Alpakka Space Dye, and can be used interchangeably with patterns calling for those yarns, which gives an enormous amount of room for playing with colors!
