Recycled Resolution Sari Silk
Recycled Resolution is an amazing recycled sari silk yarn! The genius behind the name is the Official Husband of Darn Good Yarn! And I think he hit it on the head.. the nail that is…
OMG! You have to try this yarn! The color alone is just amazing. Who could not use a bit of bright lusciousness?!
Let me tell you more about these 100g/62 yard bursts of color! Each recycled sari silk skein is unique. This sari silk yarn is individually handspun by a cooperative of woman in super-rural Northeast India. New sari fabric remnants are recycled to make this a worsted weight yarn that will yield 4.5 sts per inch on size 7s (4.5mm). For my crocheting friends out there I would suggest a hook size US I -9 (5.5mm)
Can’t you just see a cute belt crochet out of this yarn? Or a sweet hat? I bet it would look great as a skinny scarf accessory too! I am sure you will come up with a bunch of your own ideas, but just in case, click here for a link with more inspiration, knitting patterns, crochet patterns and even straight up crafting patterns!
There is a trick to picking your color: Each skein has a base color
For example: say you really like yellow, pick yellow as your base color. There will be other colors in the mix, but those colors will be the most pronounced.
Makes sense? I hope so, if not please email me! I’d be happy to send you some pictures so you can make up your mind without worries!
There are no dye lots, but I would recommend you make sure you order enough to complete your project.
I am very proud to have you check out what my customers think of our yarn and the way we take care of them! So please make sure to read our feedback page, just click here to check it out.
To keep your recycled sari silk projects looking their best for as long as possible please dry clean them or wash them by hand!
