Our new 2 ply, worsted spun Aran yarn, is gently twisted to retain the airy quality and gentle sheen so characteristic of this breed. A generous 175 metres per 100 gms, it knits to a tension of 18 sts x 25 rows to 4 inches on 5 mm (US 8 ) needles and, like all weights of this beautiful yarn, gives wonderful cable, textured and stocking stitch definition, perfect for garments, accessories and blankets.

It knits evenly and develops a slight halo after washing and blocking.

This Limited Edition yarn is available in three new colours, Fountains Abbey, a beautiful duck egg blue, Rosedale, a wonderful pink, and Mount Grace, a lovely oatmeal, as well as the ever popular Sheep and Doulton Blue.
