Tempo is a brilliant all-round 4ply sock yarn - it softens considerably after washing for next-to-skin wear. With the nylon content being paired with a more coarse/less fine merino fibre, it is especially hard wearing and well suited if it’s going to be well-worn and washed a lot. It is ideal for things like cardis, hats, shawls and gloves, though I recommend you put it through the washing machine at least once to soften it.

We recommend that you wash dark colours separately or wash a swatch before using dark and light colours together.

As with all hand dyed yarns, I would recommend that you use two skeins at a time, alternating from each one every couple of rows/rounds.
