A wonderfully springy 2 ply yarn that is grown, spun and dyed in Vermont. Our flock of Shetland sheep get lots of nourishing forage to grow lots of soft, squishy, warm wool. We then send it off to our local Vermont mill and they produce a beautiful yarn for us. We leave some of the wool natural, the colors of the Shetlands are unparalleled, but we also use natural botanical and low impact acid dyes to provide a wider range of colors for knitters who want a splash more color!
