These 3-ply fingering weight yarns are all from our small herd of goats at Gun Plain Pygoras.

The silver grey yarn is from Junio, Emma and Claireese, a trio of grey fleeced goats. Their fleeces are slightly different shades of grey, so the finished yarn has a slightly “heathery” look.

The caramel color yarn is a single fleece yarn from our 3 year old A-type fleeced buck, The Oaks Oregon.

The cream color yarn is also from a single fleece, from our 15 year old doe, Shady Creek Farm Sabrina, who has a type-B fleece.

We sheared these goats “on farm”, then delivered fleeces to Urban Dreams Farm, a small custom mill 100 miles from us. There they were cleaned without the use of harsh chemicals, then dehaired and spun into yarn.
