Next-to-skin soft with a slight fuzz and pearly luster. The mohair is not brushed, but due to the single-ply construction, it blooms beautifully. This yarn makes for beautiful lightweight pieces and though it is considered a fingering weight yarn, it blooms enough to be used as a lighter sport-weight.
