This yarn is 100% wool, made from British Columbia/Alberta sheep, spun at Custom Woolen Mills in Alberta, and hand dyed by the the members of Fibre Art Studio on Granville Island.

It is not a kind of yarn you are accustomed to seeing at your LYS. The thickness is sometimes uneven, there is some vegetable matter in it, you will find some knots in the skein, the fibers might be short, but it is OUR LOCAL YARN and we would love to support it.
