Our yarn is crafted from 100% Australian huacaya alpaca specially selected from fleeces that are grown, harvested and processed sustainably & ethically in our farm fibre mill, from our own Glenavon Alpaca herd, or sourced from other select farms using our stringent quality specifications.
Most of our yarn can be traced right back to the alpaca that lovingly grew the fibre.
Our yarn may contain a small amount of vegetable matter, as it is difficult to completely remove due to our environmentally friendly processing methods and the fineness of the fleeces used.
Yarns are not superwashed or carbonised
Colour is the natural colour of the alpaca fibre - no dyes
All yarns are individual small batches. Colours may vary between batches even for the same animal. We suggest that you obtain sufficient amount of yarn for any project you are doing.
