Yaks roam some of the world’s most severe conditions high in the Himalayan Mountains. To survive the cold winters at altitude, they grow several coats -- and it is the softest “down” fibers that you will find in Babel. Merino is blended with the yak down in this yarn to make this rare luxury fiber affordable, and a hint of nylon adds strength. This yarn renders our dyes deep and heathered for a truly refined rustic look. Available in all of our tonal, semi-solid, and variegated colorways.
