DK is probably the most versatile of yarn weights. It’s great for sweaters, accessories, shawls and even quick-knitting socks. Like all of our yarn bases, Fuse Merino DK passes the squish test with flying colors! It is soft enough to wear next to your skin and has beautiful stitch definition, too.

All of my yarn is hand dyed in small batches with wash fast and light fast dyes in a professional dye studio. Although colors can be repeated, each skein is unique. I recommend alternating skeins if you are using more than one skein of the same color.

Care: Although the yarn is superwash, which means it can be machine washed, I always recommend hand washing your knitted items in cool water. As with all hand dyed yarn, a very small amount of bleeding may occur with the first few washes -- but usually only with dark blues or hot pink colors.
