Aten is a golden yarn with a brilliant shine, especially under sunlight. The yarn is spun from 100% Muga Silk, a naturally golden variety of silk produced by Muga silkworms in Assam, India. The yarn is dense, clingy with slight texturing from noils. Use it in dazzling lace-weight projects, elegant weavings, or carry Aten along with a heavier weight yarn to create a shiny, marled effect. Soft but not slippery. Suitable for next-to-skin wear.
