Punis and Puni-Style Rolags are able to be spun on a wheel or spindle and make for great “travel” spinning as the fiber is already pre portioned out for you and ready to spin.

Punis are similar to rolags in that they are (usually) made using hand cards. The biggest difference is that punis are “rolled-on-a-stick” to make smaller tighter tubes of fiber which is excellent for long draw woolen style spinning. Punis can also be pre-drafted to make a semi-woolen preparation.
