Our fantastic “Bulky Alpaca Bouclé” consists of 30% superfine alpaca and 70% highland wool and has a yardage of 80 metres/100g. We recommend knitting needles 8 – 12 mm.
The term “Bouclé” means bow or loop in French, and is the name of a type of yarn that is spun in a special way so that the yarn forms small loops. When you knit with “Bulky Alpaca bouclé” you get a fantastically beautiful product with the finest woolly “teddy-like” texture.
“Bulky Alpaca Bouclé” can be used for woolen, chunky sweaters, mittens, hats, scarves and more. Also great for effect details such as stripes and edges.
Please note that the yarn is hand dyed and dyed in small batches, the colors may vary.
