This yarn uses 100% Bluefaced Leicester wool from sheep raised in the United Kingdom (England). The Bluefaced Leicester breed of sheep is known for producing some of the finest British yarns – it is wonderfully soft (26 microns) and has a characteristic silky sheen, making it wonderful to work with.
