This Hey Mama Wolf yarn is made from wool and hand-dyed with natural dyes in Berlin. They are locally produced and support small sheep-farms in eastern and northern Germany. I use mostly plant material which is organically grown or I go foraging for them in the Berlin-Brandenburg wilderness. I use exclusively environmentally friendly substances in the dyeing process.

This yarn is perfect for light sweaters, cardigans and all kinds of accessories. Textured patterns and color patterns in stranded knitting will show very nicely.

Undyed natural colors include single farm sourced wool from black face, East Frisian milk sheep and Pomeranian landrace. White and dyed wool is mainly made from merino landrace and black face sheep.
