the beautiful shades of green are the result of a wonderful farm project. we raised japanese indigo, polygonum tinctorium, and dyed the white yarn in a fresh indigo vat! the ultimate farm woolen product, these skeins are gorgeously imperfect but entirely organic and Kentucky made.very very limited quantities!! this is the ultimate in unique yarn. no shade is truly describable in words. for the darkest blue we are calling that 1st dip. the first skeins to be immersed in the fresh indigo vat, 2nd dip is lighter and the 3rd lighter still. each vat has its own characteristics,join us in crafting with this wonderful yarn. please order 1, 2 or 3 dip if you have a preference!
