Skeins from a color pack of yarn you can purchase around Christmas time from Hobbii. Hobbii claims this is comparable to their Amigo line of yarn, but these skeins are twice the size, and the color coding overlaps the normal Amigo colors (1-5 of Amigo are shades of white and brown, whereas these 1-5 are white, red, and green.) Because of this I have added this separate listing instead of adding to Amigo.

Description from Hobbii:

Now you can knit and crochet in the classic Christmas colors. Beautiful green and red shades combined with the classic snow white. The yarn is super soft and strong which makes it suitable for knitting a (baby) blanket, a Christmas sock for the gifts, hats, scarves, mittens and so on.

The quality is top notch as it is the equivalent to our Amigo (formerly known as Tivoli) yarn.

Here is a little more info about the yarn:

Christmas Acrylic is a really soft yarn with a wonderful, airy volume. It is produced from 100% HB acrylic in a really good quality and a huge selection of colors.

HB stands for High-bulk. It is a production technique where you use steam and pressure to make the fibers contract a little and curl so that they become fuller. The result is a light and soft yarn that is both comfortable to work with and to wear on the body.

Christmas Acrylic is easy to work with in knitting as well as crochet, and a little goes a long way! There is a full 175 metres in 50 grams. It is absolutely brilliant for soft, warm blankets, but also great for things like sweaters, hats and scarves that never scratch. The airy yarn keeps you warm and does not get too heavy.

Christmas Acrylic is distinguished by its light volume, uniform structure and great durability. It can be machine washed at 30°C, perfect for everyday use. The Colors and the shape will hold up to wash after wash. If you’re allergic to wool, or if you want to opt out of animal fibers for other reasons, then it’s a great idea to replace it with Christmas Acrylic and get a soft and lovely result.

The yarn is OEKO-TEX® certified (no. 2076-311). Find more information about the certification on the https://www.oeko-tex.com/en/.
